Berny joined The UnPopulist in the fall of 2023 as its senior editor, and in the same year came on board at ISMA as its executive director.

​In 2016, he founded Arc Digital, a publication committed to the idea that platforming the best arguments from across the political spectrum could enrich the discourse. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Bulwark, The Dispatch, BuzzFeed News, The Independent, and elsewhere. For the last decade, Berny has been teaching "Intro to Philosophy" and "Intro to Ethics" at various universities in his spare time.

​Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, he now lives in sunny Miami, Florida, with his wife and three children.
